About the position
Barbershops and men’s hair salons in Canada are hiring experienced barbers. You will do men’s cuts, fades and beard trims, and welcome and advise every client. This is a full-time position. You will work in the salon, in direct contact with clients: precise cuts, a clean workstation and quality service are at the heart of the job.
What you would do
- Men’s cuts with scissors and clippers
- Fades and line-ups
- Beard trimming, grooming and shaving
- Welcoming clients and advising on cut and upkeep
- Cleaning and disinfecting tools and the workstation
Who we are looking for
- At least 1 year of experience as a barber, in a barbershop or men’s hair salon
- Minimum education: middle school or some secondary school
- A diploma or certificate in hairdressing — an asset
- Skilled with clippers, scissors and razor
- Basic English to deal with clients
- Clean criminal record
