About the position
A company in Alberta is hiring an experienced truck driver. You transport goods safely: vehicle preparation, pre-trip inspection, driving, loading and unloading, delivery documents. The position is full-time. You follow traffic laws, driving and rest hours and the company's safety procedures. Pay is discussed at the interview, depending on your experience.
What you would do
- Inspect the truck before every trip (brakes, tires, lights, fluids)
- Drive safely and keep to delivery schedules
- Load, secure and unload goods
- Complete transport and delivery documents
- Report any mechanical issue
Who we are looking for
- At least 3 years of experience as a truck driver (heavy vehicle)
- Valid heavy-vehicle driving licence
- Minimum education: high school
- Good driving record
- Basic English is an asset
- Clean criminal record
- French: NCLC 5 or higher
